What is Black Paper / Black Card?
Black Through the Sheet—Not Just on the Surface Black Paper is selected when the black appearance itself is part of the finished design. Unlike white paper printed with black ink, through-dyed black paper maintains a dark appearance at the cut edge.
This makes it particularly suitable for products where exposed edges, die-cut shapes or premium finishing are visible. YOUNGSUN supplies both virgin-fibre and recycled-fibre black grades, allowing buyers to select according to appearance, strength, converting and sustainability requirements.
Current product data also includes laminated heavy black board for thicker structural applications.

Is YOUNGSUN Black Paper black through the sheet?
YOUNGSUN supplies black grades with a uniform black appearance throughout the sheet, helping maintain a cleaner dark edge after cutting.
What GSM is available?
The current single-ply TDS range is 80–600 gsm; laminated heavy black board can extend to higher structural grades by confirmed construction.
What sheet sizes are normally available?
787 × 1092 mm and 889 × 1194 mm; custom cutting is also available.
Can Black Paper be foil stamped?
Yes, hot foil stamping is one of the supported finishing methods, subject to grade and production testing.
Which GSM is commonly used for hang tags?
A typical starting range is around 250–400 gsm depending on tag size, stiffness and finishing.
Do you supply virgin and recycled Black Paper?
Yes, both options are included in the current YOUNGSUN range.
