GC1 Regular Bulk Folding Box Board
GC1 folding box board for cartons requiring balanced stiffness, print quality and converting performance.Ranges describe documented grades, not every intermediate weight or stock availability. Caliper depends on grammage and grade; confirm the selected TDS, physical sample and order specification.
Product overview
What is GC1 Regular Bulk Folding Box Board?
GC1 Regular Bulk Folding Box Board is a white-back carton board with a smooth coated printing face. Its conventional balance of thickness and grammage suits buyers looking for a clean white appearance and dependable folding-carton conversion.
The current StarSpark C1S Ivory Board technical range is 170–400 gsm. Compare caliper, stiffness and folding performance against the finished carton dimensions, then approve the printing and crease on the selected grade.

Practical questions
Before you specify.
What is the main difference between GC1 Regular Bulk and GC1 High Bulk?
Regular Bulk follows a more conventional caliper-to-weight relationship, while High Bulk is selected when greater thickness and yield at a controlled GSM are priorities.
What grammage is covered by the current regular-bulk TDS?
170–400 gsm.
Can the board be scored and folded?
Yes; the TDS specifies folding performance, while the final crease should be tested against carton geometry and GSM.
Is GC1 Regular Bulk the same as GC2?
No. GC1 Regular Bulk, GC1 High Bulk and GC2 are separate grades. Compare the technical data for the exact grade you require.
