Uncoated Cupstock Base Paper
Base cupstock for downstream coating/printing/converting; uncoated base paper is distinct from finished PE-coated cupstock.Ranges describe documented grades, not every intermediate weight or stock availability. Caliper depends on grammage and grade; confirm the selected TDS, physical sample and order specification.
Product overview
What is Uncoated Cupstock Base Paper?
Uncoated Cupstock Base Paper is the paperboard substrate used before PE or another barrier layer is applied. Buyers select it for the strength, folding and forming performance required by the finished cup or container.
The technical family covers 160–330 gsm, with 160–230 gsm commonly used for regular PE-cup converting. Higher grammages can be discussed for food-board structures that need additional body.
